
Annette was involved in opposing an injunction seeking to prevent the appointment of Administrators. The dispute concerned an alleged oral agreement, the terms of which affected the enforceability of the underlying debt.
She was also involved in the early stages of a dispute regarding the terms of an agreement relating to a property development.
While awaiting her call to the Bar of England and Wales and in order to gain court experience in England, between February and November 2020, Annette conducted lower court advocacy in the County Courts dealing with a variety of matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, mortgage possession proceedings, return of goods proceedings, disposal hearings, winding up petitions and various interlocutory applications.
Annette has also dealt with various issues relating to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and TOLATA disputes between unmarried partners relating to jointly owned property.
