Leila Benyounes appointed as Assistant Coroner

Leila will sit part time whilst continuing with her busy practice in coronial law and clinical negligence disputes. She regularly acts for interested persons in inquests arising out of a range of matters, including high profile Article 2 jury inquests. Ranked as a Band 1 leading junior in Inquests and Inquiries in Legal 500, Leila has been appointed to the Attorney General’s Treasury Counsel Panel A since 2010.  She was re-appointed for a further 5-year term in February 2021.
