Holly specialises in Chancery litigation. She joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2021 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Sarah Harrison.

Holly has experience in a wide variety of Chancery matters and has a particular interest in trusts and probate work. She regularly represents clients at Court in relation to a range of matters and also has a broad advisory practice.

Holly accepts instructions in the following areas:

  • Private client matters (both contentious and non-contentious)
  • Property cases
  • ADR and Mediation

Holly has experience acting in a wide range of private client matters.

She is regularly instructed in relation to:

  • Disputes regarding the validity of Wills including undue influence, lack of testamentary capacity, want of due execution, and want of knowledge and approval.
  • Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
  • Removal of personal representatives and trustees.
  • Part 64 applications.
  • Construction of and rectification of Wills and trusts.

 

Holly also accepts instructions in non-contentious matters. She has experience advising personal representatives and trustees about their powers, duties, and issues relating to costs.

Holly is regularly instructed in relation to a range of Property matters, including:

  • Applications under section 14 of the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
  • Proprietary estoppel claims.
  • Claims in relation to the beneficial ownership of property arising under trusts.

Holly has experience representing clients at mediation in respect of private client and property matters.
