PLP is pleased to announce that Farah Shames has joined chambers and will be accepting instructions from 20 April.
Farah was called to the Bar in 2021 and undertook her pupillage specialising in Family law. She now practises in Care and Private Children proceedings, acting for local authorities, parents, and other parties across a broad range of public and private family law matters.
Farah is known for her clear, compassionate, and pragmatic advocacy, with a strong focus on achieving child‑centred outcomes. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, enabling her to support a diverse client base, and is a member of the Family Law Bar Association (FLBA).
