Parklane Plowden barristers take on the Yorkshire Classic Cycle Challenge

Not content with the rigours of a courtroom challenge, a team of 8 barristers from Parklane Plowden have taken up a challenge of a very different kind. They will be participating in the first Yorkshire Classic Cycle challenge being organised by law firm Lupton Fawcett Denison Till. 

The 58 mile route takes in some of the most dramatic and much-loved scenery that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The challenge isn’t for the faint-hearted! It includes a combination of steep climbs and technical descents going through Bolton Abbey, Grassington and Malham Tarn. 

It’s all to raise money for Sports Aid, a charity dedicated to developing the next generation of elite British athletes. 

The team of 8 includes Head of Chambers, Andrew Axon. All those participating have been training hard and have even commissioned a Parklane Plowden cycle-top especially for the day.  The race will take place on 18th June, for more information visit:
