About

Arya commenced her civil and employment pupillage in September 2025 under the supervision of Andrew Webster and Jim Hester.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Arya worked for over a year as a County Court Advocate with LPC Law, in the South East. She represented clients in a range of civil matters, including; mortgage possessions, mortgage applications, landlord and tenant claims, bankruptcy, return of goods and infant approval hearings.

Occasionally, she was instructed in small claims, namely; parking penalty charges, credit hire, and road traffic accidents.

Arya studied LLB Law at Newcastle University and graduated with first-class honours.

She completed the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.

In her spare time, Arya volunteered with the Cleaners and Allied Independent Workers Union. She advocated for workers in internal disciplinary and grievance meetings.

During university, she was involved in the Employment Tribunal Litigants in Person Support Scheme as a Student Volunteer. She took attendance notes during conferences between the volunteer lawyer and the Litigants in Person.

Arya has participated in a number of moot competitions and won the Oxford University Press & Inns of Court College of Advocacy National Mooting Competition.
