Jade commenced a civil pupillage with Parklane Plowden in November 2018 under the supervision of Sarah Brewis and Claire Millns. Jade's pupillage will cover Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Coronial Law and Employment.
Jade studied Law at the University of Leeds where she received the Pamela Walsh Peaker Memorial Scholarship for excellence. She was also awarded the Capsticks Health Care Prize, a prize awarded to the highest achieving student in Health Care Law. During her time at university, Jade was also the winner of the University of Leeds Senior Mooting Competition.
Jade went on to study the BPTC at the University of Law in Leeds, achieving Outstanding in a number of modules. During her studies, Jade volunteered as an advocate for the Yorkshire Tribunal Advocacy Project.
Jade has a particular interest in Medical Law and had a paper published by Cambridge Law Review in 2017. Before starting pupillage, Jade also worked in the clinical negligence department at Stewarts in Leeds; a top ranked law firm in The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Jade has experience in a wide range of clinical negligence areas including cases involving orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, mental health, intrauterine deaths, and spinal and brain injuries.
