Stephen joined Chambers in August 2018 as the Senior Chancery and Commercial Clerk. In 2024 Stephen has taken on the role as Senior Practice Director of Family, Chancery & Commercial.

Stephen has over sixteen years of experience in clerking. He is responsible for the management and development of the Leeds members’ practices.

Stephens’ duties include daily liaison with instructing solicitors, allocation of work, management of barristers’ diaries and fee negotiation. As well as managing the barristers’ practices and personal development, Stephen is responsible for the planning, promotion and advancement of chambers across a number of different specialist practice groups.

Away from Chambers, Stephen enjoys spending time with his young family. He is a keen sportsman and likes going to gym and boxing.
