Clinical Negligence Grandstand Events

The Parklane Plowden 2024 Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Seminar Programme continued this week with the Newcastle leg of our new-look grandstand events dedicated to Clinical Negligence. The afternoon was hosted within the beautifully refurbished events space in Portland House, Newcastle, our new professional home.

A repeat of our comprehensive talks: Interim Payments in Maximum Severity Cases by Howard Elgot and Jade Ferguson and Secondary Victims by Anna Datta and Abigail Telford were once again well received, whilst a revised line-up from the Leeds outing of our innovative 'Speed Lectures', provided a lighthearted approach to delivering five bite-sized talks on complicated subjects, each against a five minute clock.

Mike Hill (Informed Consent), Megan Crowther (Fatal Accidents), Leila Benyounes (Fatals/Inquests), Richard Copnall (Fatal Clinical Negligence and The Human Rights Act) and Peter Yates (Fixed Recoverable Costs) all managed, once again, to beat the dreaded gavel.

It has been back-to-back full attendance at our Leeds premises for the first outing on 8th February and in Newcastle on 29th February, where the event was drawn to a close with an informative and interactive thirty minute panel session followed by a relaxed social opportunity to meet the team over drinks and nibbles.
