We recruit mini pupils for the year ahead between October and December.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
As a result of restrictions following the Covid-19 pandemic, Parklane Plowden Chambers are offering remote mini-pupillages to previous successful applicants whose planned mini-pupillages were placed on hold throughout 2020. If this applies to you and you have not yet been contacted, please email email@example.com.
We understand that applicants have experienced difficulties finding and applying for mini-pupillages throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. As restrictions are phased out, we hope that our mini-pupillage application process will resume as normal in October 2021 for applicants seeking to secure a mini-pupillage in 2022. Should government restrictions prevent in-person mini-pupillages from taking place, we will continue to offer virtual mini-pupillages instead. Please return to the website for updated information around September 2021.
In October 2021, Chambers will offer 12 mini-pupillages, by application, to take place in 2022. We recognise that there are long standing issues with social mobility and under-representation of certain groups at entry level to the Bar. We are committed to taking positive action to redress the disadvantages experienced by members of protected groups. To this end, six of the 12 mini-pupillages on offer by application will be allocated to positive action schemes such as Bridging the Bar and Chambers’ own internal social mobility schemes. Further details regarding the application process for specialist mini-pupillage schemes will be published on the website in due course.
Four additional mini-pupillages are offered through our Chambers’ Outreach Programme which are available to individuals through established outreach schemes, including partnership with local universities.
In the event you need to contact the mini-pupillage team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
