Richard Copnall featured in the January edition of Counsel Magazine

Richard Copnall, along with 12 other members and staff in chambers took part in a two-day course to become Mental Health First Aiders. More details about the two-day course can be found here.

For the January edition of Counsel Magazine, Richard Copnall has provided an article on mental health first aid in chambers. Throughout the article Richard explains why mental health first aid is needed now more than ever throughout barristers' chambers and the legal sector.

He explains "The Bar has a justified reputation for innovation and adaptation to the changing needs of society. However, the pace of change in the last few years has been dizzying and has created new stresses and strains on barristers and our support staff. With the old, informal, support networks crumbling, we thought we should do something."
