Assistant Practice Director – Chancery & Commercial
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Assistant Practice Director to support our Chancery and Commercial team, as well as our Family Finance practitioners.
In this key role, you will work closely with the Senior Practice Director to ensure the smooth running, growth, and continued success of these practice areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Business Development
Supporting strategic growth initiatives and nurturing relationships with clients, chambers members, and key stakeholders. - Practice Management
Overseeing the operational performance of the teams to ensure high-quality, efficient service delivery. - Day‑to‑Day Administration
Managing core practice administration activities and ensuring processes run effectively. - Leadership & Mentoring
- Line‑managing and supporting two Practice Administrators, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

Marketing Support Officer
Location: Leeds
Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Overview
The Marketing Support Officer will support the strategic and operational marketing activities of Chambers, working closely with SLT, Clerks, Barristers and the Operational team(s). This role is essential to promoting Chambers’ reputation, strengthening client relationships and ensuring the effective delivery of marketing, events and communications activity.
Experience and Behaviours
- Able to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders
- Diligent, organised and attentive to detail, with strong prioritisation skills
- Assertive and persuasive when required
- Creative and solutions focused, with the ability to resolve problems promptly
- Analytical, with the ability to evaluate information and data critically
- At least 2 years’ administration experience in a deadline driven environment
- 2 years data input/analysis
- Intermediate use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, able to create, edit and format documents above a basic level
- 1 year’s use of CMS ideally WordPress
- 1 year’s use of digital platforms such as LinkedIn and X to create and launch posts
- Strong English language skills including correct use of punctuation, grammar and spelling
