Northern Law Award’s Shortlisting

Parklane Plowden is delighted to share that we have been shortlisted for Chambers of the Year at the Northern Law Awards!
This shortlisting reflects the hard-work, commitment, and dedication that goes into all we do from the whole team at Parklane Plowden Chambers and recognises the excellence that underpins everything we do. This nomination recognises our excellent delivery of Legal Services across complex, high-value and high-profile matters, and a genuine commitment to outstanding client outcomes.
The judges also recognise our continued investment in infrastructure and client engagement; Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and our involvement in significant, high-profile work.
Parklane Plowden barrister: Avaia Williams has also been shortlisted for the Pro Bono award. Avi’s dedication to Pro Bono is notable, providing over 200 hours of free legal services for individuals who may otherwise not have been eligible for representation. Avi is PLP’s ‘Pro-Bono Champion’, providing work through Not Beyond Redemption and assistance across 7 hearings, including a 2 day final hearing.

PLP will send a team to Newcastle to meet with the judges and present our nomination face-to-face.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 11th June.
