Parklane Plowden are delighted to welcome our 2019 pupils who commenced their pupillage this week.
Bethan Davies (Civil) – Newcastle, supervised by Liz Hodgson
Bethan read law at Newcastle University and graduated with first class honours in 2016. She completed her BPTC in Leeds before going on to gain an LLM (with Distinction) in Human Rights at University College London. She already has experience of advising clients and appearing in the civil courts as a result of her work with the South London Refugee Association and LPC Law.
Emily Slocombe (Civil) – Leeds, supervised by Roger Quickfall
Emily graduated with a first-class honours degree in law from the University of the West of England in 2018. She went on to complete an LLM in Legal Practice at BPP, Bristol. Emily worked as a volunteer at the Avon and Bristol Law Centre.
Hannah Whitehouse (Family) – Leeds, supervised by Julia Nelson
Hannah graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2018 after studying law, before gaining a distinction in the BPTC in 2019. She has gained experience in all areas of family law during her studies and beyond, and has participated in, and won, a number of advocacy competitions.
