Chambers ends financial year on a high with record financial growth and an industry award win.

Chambers is delighted to report record growth for the last financial year with an exceptional 14% boost to revenue from the previous year. Over the past 12 months chambers has experienced a period of significant expansion with the arrival of 15 new barristers who bring expertise across a range of specialist areas and at varying levels of seniority. Chambers has particularly bolstered its offering in the field of Chancery and Commercial law following an unusual ‘team-move’ from St Philips Chambers last summer.

Earlier this month, we also won a Yorkshire Accountancy Award for the work done by our in-house finance team. The team was established five years ago as part of a revolutionary restructure to modernise how a barrister’s chambers operates. The formation of Plowden Facilities Ltd in 2014 streamlined chambers’ business management processes which have saved time, money and improved the way information is shared that enables decisions to be made swiftly and with confidence.

“The current success is down to our absolute focus on what’s happening in the legal market and a willingness to make timely and strategic business decisions that enable us to deliver a service that clients both value and need” says Head of Chambers Chris Williams.
