Alex Foster becomes a District Judge

We are delighted to announce that the Queen has appointed Francis Alexander Foster to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Bradford Combined Court Centre with effect from 21 May 2018.

Francis Alexander Foster, aged 51, will be known as District Judge Foster. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1990. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2007.
