Chambers is delighted to announce the continued expansion and strengthening of its specialist Chancery and Commercial teams with the arrival of barrister, Nicola Phillipson TEP.
Nicola, who was called to the Bar in 1999, is an experienced chancery practitioner with expertise in probate, inheritance and Court of Protection work. In addition to being a Trusts and Estate Practitioner (TEP), Nicola is also an experienced property barrister and one of only a few on the North Eastern Circuit recommended in the Legal 500 for both chancery and property work.
The Legal 500, 2020 describe her as being “Clever, down-to-earth, practical and collaborative” for chancery work; and “An exceptional advocate who puts clients at ease” for property work.
She joins a flourishing chancery team who are described in the latest Chambers & Partners guide as “a force to be reckoned with”. Nicola will the first barrister in Chambers who is a full member of STEP.
