About
Amelia has commenced her civil and employment pupillage in September 2026 under the supervision of Colin Richmond.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Amelia worked at Rothera Bray Solicitors on behalf of the Surviving Victims in the Nottingham Attacks Public Inquiry. Amelia worked closely with Sophie Cartwright KC, Leila Benyounes and Georgia Banks of chambers, assisting with the preparation and drafting of Rule 10 applications during the Inquiry.
Following completion of the Bar Practice Course, Amelia worked for 18 months as a dispute resolution paralegal in the catastrophic injury department at Levi Solicitors, Leeds. In this role, Amelia assisted the senior partner on a wide range of claims, including traumatic brain injuries and complex post-traumatic stress disorder.
Amelia graduated with First-Class Honours in Law from Sheffield University, receiving a prize for achieving the highest mark in her cohort. She subsequently completed the Bar Course with Masters at the University of Law in Leeds achieving Outstanding and Distinction grades. Amelia has also received an award and scholarship by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple.
During university, Amelia volunteered with the FreeLaw Clinic where she also acted as a group leader. Amelia has also sat on the Sheffield School Appeals panel, adjudicating appeals concerning places at primary and secondary schools across Sheffield.
