Chambers makes £1400 donation to charities supporting those in need

The funds will be split evenly between two charities located in the same area as our two offices: The People’s Kitchen based in Newcastle and St George’s Crypt based in Leeds. Both charities have continued doing their fantastic work during an incredibly turbulent year. To find out more about these charities and their ongoing work, visit their websites at The People’s Kitchen and St George’s Crypt. Director at Nestor, Nick Leech, commented on the partnership and donation to these charities: “We are delighted to be able to include support for The Peoples Kitchen (Newcastle) and St George’s Crypt (Leeds) in conjunction with our friends and professional colleagues from Parklane Plowden Chambers. The Nestor Foundation donates and supports charitable causes and individuals directly where we can and Christmas 2020 is as good a year as ever to increase those efforts. It is our privilege and pleasure to provide help and support for those much less fortunate than ourselves in various locations around the UK. It is the least we can do. A small gift, a warm meal, a blanket or simply a listening ear and words of comfort to give some hope over Christmas for those who need it most. From our families to yours, we wish you all the best Christmas possible and, once again, thank you to all the volunteers up and down the country spreading positivity for those in need.”   Director of Business Development at Parklane Plowden Chambers, Michael Stubbs, commented: “Providing support to those in need is clearly important every year but 2020 has been an especially trying period for those who are most vulnerable. We are delighted to provide this contribution, in partnership with the Nestor Foundation, to two charities whose contribution to those in need has especially resonated with us here at Parklane Plowden Chambers.
